This is a children's story that I presented two months ago that I just felt convicted to share. This blog is not by any means going to become my flagship blog but rather will be to bless those who should be given the wonderful opportunity to speak to children and adults alike. It is my prayer that the lessons presented in this in-particular blog will be a blessing to some. That said the blog wherein the "meat" is to be found will be Bible Studies (Jesus is coming soon!) http://jesuswilldeliverhischildren.blogspot.com/
please check that out.
Thank you and may you be blessed
Now this week I have a story I have wanted to share, it is
the story of Joseph and Tim;
Joseph was raised Adventist and knew the truth from young
age, Tim was his best friend. Joseph knew all about eating vegan because he had
been given light in the spirit of prophecy; but he never told Tim about it
because he didn’t want to hurt Tim’s feelings or anything...
Joseph knew all about the state of the dead and he knew what
the bible said, but he never shared it with Tim, so Tim did not know but always
wondered what was going to happen and why Jesus needed to return if people went
to Heaven right away anyway…
Joseph kept all the Ten Commandments, but even though Tim
loved Jesus he didn’t really know what that meant and he was always looking for
ways to please God but just never felt like he quite could, and Joseph never
wanted to make Tim feel bad so he did not share the truth with Tim.
Finally they grow up, Tim has a friend named Dale who is an
atheist; and he tells his friend all about what he knows about Jesus, Joseph
grows up and just hopes the best for both Tim and Dale, but he has no desire to
share his light with either one…
When
Jesus comes back to bring us all home who do you suppose He is going to want in
Heaven, Tim, or Joseph?
Jesus
loves them both, but Joseph was ashamed of Jesus wasn’t he? Joseph was too
scared, and he valued what he thought of his relationship with Tim more than he
valued Tim’s soul. Jesus says in Luke 9:26 that “Whoever is ashamed of me and
my words, the son of man will be ashamed of...”
Now I think that this is a promise to us, if we share our
love of Jesus, and share what He has done for us, and the light He has shared
with us, than He will not be ashamed of us, and He will give us strength all
the day, He will never abandon those who love Him. So go and tell the world the
things that Jesus has taught you.
